Megan Martin is a board-certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Marylhurst University in Oregon. Megan began her career as a special education high school art teacher and, after completing her Masters, has worked in correctional and acute inpatient psychiatric settings. While art therapy is Megan’s passion, she works collaboratively with each client to find the best methods to support the client. She maintains a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to create an empathic and welcoming therapeutic environment. Megan works with each client to learn skills which build on their existing strengths and can then be translated into their lives outside of the therapy session to achieve their personal goals.
