Jennifer Breslin, PsyD

Dr. Breslin graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University in 2015. Her dissertation was “Case Study Of Diagnostic And Treatment Complexities In Repeat Blast Injuries.” Dr. Breslin has collaborated as a research assistant in studies of post-traumatic growth, social comparisons, and emotional awareness. Over the last 12 years, she has worked with children and adults with a variety of comorbid medical, behavioral and mental health concerns in a variety of settings. During her doctoral degree, Dr. Breslin completed clinical training at Bancroft NeuroRehab and Rutgers University’s Student Health Center. She completed a fellowship in rehabilitation psychology at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa Florida, and received specialized training on four clinical rotations, including Pediatric Neuropsychology, Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Trauma. Additional training was acquired on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Burn Injury Unit, and Bariatrics Unit. Prior to attaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Breslin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2006. During her Master’s Degree, Dr. Breslin completed clinical training in Jacksonville Florida at The Child Guidance Center, Department of Juvenile Justice, Gateway Community Services, and Foundation Academy. Dr. Breslin was employed as a behavior therapist at Shorehaven Inc. from 2006-2012. Dr. Breslin was later employed as a lead clinician at Elwyn Inc. from 2012-2014. She has experience with pediatric/adult neuropsychological assessments, educational evaluations, court-ordered forensic evaluations, dispositional planning for adjudicated youth, functional behavioral assessments, behavior therapy, developing behavior improvement plans, and individual/family therapy. Dr. Breslin is a member of the American Psychological Association’s General Psychology and Rehabilitation Psychology Divisions. Dr. Breslin is passionate about helping children, families, and adults overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals.
