Dr. Trainer is a postdoctoral fellow conducting forensic evaluations. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University in 2025. Her dissertation was “Risk Factors in the Presence of Violent and Nonviolent Offending.” Dr. Trainer completed her predoctoral internship at Rutgers University Behavioral HealthCare/Correctional HealthCare, where she provided individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis management, and psychological testing in the men’s and women’s state prisons in New Jersey.
Over the years, Dr. Trainer has worked in a variety of settings, including youth residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient treatment for individuals with problematic sexual behavior. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Trainer was a practicum student at MG Therapeutic Services, conducting forensic and neuropsychological evaluations, and later transitioned into a forensic evaluator role.
